Abstract: Objective To explore the hemodynamic effects of Intravenous oxytocin on different painless abortion patients. Methods Select 30 cases of the painless abortion patients, which were divided into groupⅠ(age≥40) and groupⅡ(age<40), each 15 cases. Two groups of patients were under anesthesia operation with propofol. Intravenous oxytocin 10U was injected in 30s after uterine suctions and hemodynamic stability. MAP and HR were recorded before and after oxytocin injection. Results Compared to those before, MAP was decreased significantly and HR was increased fast after oxytocin injection in both groups(P<0.05).The decrease of MAP was slower but lasted for a longer period in group Ⅰ than in group Ⅱ (P<0.05). Conclusion Intravenous oxytocin could make hemodynamic fluctuation on different painless abortion patients, longer in over 40 ones than in young ones and easy to induce higher adverse cardiovascular risk.
