    1. Expert forum

    This column includes reviews and comments of academic leaders in pharmaceutical research on hot research topics in the industry and medication issues of social concern. Safe and rational drug use as well as other aspects of traditional Chinese and Western medicines may be involved. The topics selected should be novel and of high concern. The opinions should not be one-sided and should be supported by complete literatures. The conclusions should be scientific, reliable and reasonable. At least 20 literatures should be referenced in which the literatures published in the last 3 years should account for more than 50% and each of which should include 4,000 to 6,000 words. 

    2. Basic research

    This column includes latest progress, new technologies and achievements of frontier pharmaceutical researches at home and abroad. Pharmacology, toxicology and analysis of traditional Chinese and Western medicines may be involved. The topics selected should be novel. The methods used should be advanced. New opinions and original charts should be presented. Statistical analysis should be performed for the results and a conclusion should be generated. At least 20 literatures should be referenced in which the literatures published in the last 3 years should account for more than 50% and each of which should include 4,000 to 6,000 words. 

    3. Clinical study

    This column includes academic papers reporting exploratory study results and practical experience in the field of clinical drug use which should present new findings or progress having not been included in any previous published literature. More cases should be collected. Further observation and exploration should be performed. The diagnostic and treatment methods should be innovative and better efficacy should be achieved. New opinions should be presented. Statistical analysis should be performed for the results and a conclusion should be generated. At least 20 literatures should be referenced in which the literatures published in the last 3 years should account for more than 50% and each of which should include 4,000 to 6,000 words. 

    4. Regulation and management study

    This column includes domestic and overseas laws, regulations and practical cases in the field of PV, theories and practices of ADR monitoring and evaluation, and methodological studies. The opinions presented should be clear and strongly pertinent, reflect historical background, current study status and development trend and of significant reference. At least 20 literatures should be referenced in which the literatures published in the last 3 years should account for more than 50% and each of which should include 3,000 to 5,000 words. 

    5. Safe and rational drug use

    This column includes academic papers reporting practices and experience of clinical use of drugs. Analysis of clinical ADRs, literature of ADRs, rational drug use in clinical, drug-induced diseases and individual cases of ADRs may be involved. The opinions presented should be scientific. Data included should be complete. The study methods used should be reasonably designed. Statistical analysis should be performed for the results and a conclusion should be generated. At least 20 literatures should be referenced in which the literatures published in the last 3 years should account for more than 50% and each of which should include 3,000 to 5,000 words. 

    6. Review

    This column includes papers summarizing, organizing, analyzing and refining the data, information and main opinions from a large quantity of original research papers in a particular subject area within a certain time period. The reviews should center on and give an insight into a certain topic. They should cover papers in a certain period of time and reflect historical background, current study status and development trend of the topic. In addition, they should be of great value to information science. The opinions presented should be clear and strongly pertinent. At least 20 literatures should be referenced in which the literatures published in the last 3 years should account for more than 50% and each of which should include 3,000 to 5,000 words. 

    7. Special column
    This column includes typically 3 to 5 series articles intensively studying a certain aspect of a scientific research project or topic. These articles should center on the same topic and have logical relationship with each other. Review, theoretical study, basic research and practice research concerning the topic may be involved. The articles should include acceptable content, latest reference literatures and distinct arrangement, which are properly analyzed and of great theoretical and practical significance.At least 20 literatures should be referenced in which the literatures published in the last 3 years should account for more than 50% and each of which should include 3,000 to 5,000 words.
