Analysis on Antibiotics Utilization in General Surgical Department

Abstract: Objective To study the perioperative use of prophylactic antibiotics in the hospita1. Methods 355 surgery patients were sampled randomly from Jun.to Dec.2008 in the hospital and investigated in respect of the perioperative use of prophylactic antibiotics based on the Guidir,g Principle of the CHnical Application of Antibacterials Results The general surgical department of antibacterials took up 100%, antibiotics involved in 9 Classes 32 varieties, of which 327 cases of preventive medicine, accounting for 92.11%, treatment drugs in 28 cases, accounting for 7.89%. All analytical cases, a single medication, two united agents, triple agents, four joint and four or more medications together accounted for 24.51%, 46.48%, 17.46%, 11.55%. Conclusion We should strengthen the use of perioperative anti-infective management and supervision, promote rational drug clinicians.
