Abstract: ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of Rhodiola sachalinensis Polysaccharides(RSP) on activity of the human T lymphocytes in vitro and proliferation of the human gastric cancer cell in vitro. MethodsMTT colorimetry assay and in vitro culture cell number count assay were adopted. ResultsThe results show that RSP significantly accelerated the transformation and proliferation of the healthy human peripheral blood T lymphocytes in vitro(P <0.05) and inhibited the proliferation of the human gastric cancer cell in vitro(P <0.05), and what's more, the inhibitory effect of RSP was stronger than that of Lentinan(P <0.05). ConclusionRSP may be an immunoenhancer and have some efficacy on the prevention and cure of gastric cancer.
