These mcdicines include CNS depressants, antihistamine, antihypertensive drugs, hypoglycemics, pain relievers etc. PDI effects include sedation, drowsiness, dizziness, hypotension, hypoglycemia, blurred vision and loss of coordination. It is important to increase awareness among health care providers and drivers regarding the potential driver impairing effects of pharmaceutical use.
