Analysis of 104 Cases of Adverse Drug Reaction Reports of Antibacterial Agents

Abstract: Objective To investigate the situation of adverse drug reaction/event(ADR/ADE) of antibacterial agents, thus to provide bases and references for rational use of antibacterial agents. Methods 104 ADR reports of antibacterial agentswere collected and analyzed in a hospital during 2009. Result Of the total 104 ADR reports, females was slightly more than males; adult patients between 18 to 59 years old age were accounted for the majority; 72 cases that administered intravenously were accounted for the majority(69.23%); the cases that caused by cephalosporins were accounted for the most(40 cases,38.46%), and damage to the skin and accessories(54 cases, 51.92%)was the commonest type. Conclusion We should pay great attention to the ADR of antibacterial agents, and strengthen the supervision of clinical application of antibacterial agents.
