Abstract: Objective To study the features of thrombocytopenia induced by linezolid through literature analysis and provide reference for clinical rational use of linezolid. Methods To collect literatures from 2001 to 2012 reported in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and VIP medical journal database with linezolid, thrombocytopenia and ADR as key words, and to analyze statistically the 33 ADR cases involved in 19 articles of linezolid inducing thrombocytopenia. Results Twenty five cases were male, 8 cases were female, 23 cases were more than 60 years old. The high-risk factors of thrombocytopenia were advanced age,low baseline platelet count(≤200×109·L-1) and long course of treatment. Most cases returned to normal after drug withdrawal and corresponding treatments in 7~14 days. Conclusion In order to detect earlier and deal correctly,we should pay more attention to the ADR of linezolid inducing thrombocytopenia. It needs to observe closely and monitor blood routine examination during application.

Key words: adverse drug reaction(ADR), linezolid, thrombocytopenia
