Study on Extraction Process and Alcohol Precipitation of Jingshuning Granules

Abstract: Objective To optimize the process of extraction and alcohol precipitation of Jingshuning Granules. Methods Using orthogonal test, the main influence factors of extraction and alcohol precipitation were investigated. Water volume, extraction time and times were inspected, with the metastasis rate of paeoniflorin and extract yield as influencing factors. The content of paeoniflorin and dry extract yield were used as index to study the relative density of concentrated liquid, alcohol concentration and time. Results The optimized extraction process was to add 10 times amount of water, extract for 3 times, 2 hours each time.The best process of alcohol precipitation was that the relative density of concentrated liquid was 1.12, alcohol concentration was 60%, and alcohol precipitation time was 24 hours. Conclusion The optimized technology of extraction and alcohol precipitation was reasonable, stable and reliable. It is suitable for industrial production.
