Abstract: Objective To reinforce the monitoring of clinical drugs which have been twice focused by "Bulletin on Drugs of Adverse Reaction Information". Methods Statistical analysis on the drugs focused twice from Nov. 2001 to March 2010 by National Center for ADR Monitoring of China. Results There are 9 kinds of the circulated drugs, 8 of which are injections, 50 percent of which are injections of Chinese medicines and 50 percent of which are injections of chemical medicines. Conclusion The medical institutions at all levels should strengthen the monitoring of clinical drugs, esp. those focused by National Center for ADR Monitoring of China and they should be used strictly on the basis of the provisions of drugs description. The process of medication should also be observed so as to avoid the human factors of irrational drug use and reduce the incidence rate of adverse drug reaction/event(ADR/ADE).
