Abstract: ObjectiveTo investigate the adverse drug reaction(ADR) induced by antibiotic, and provide advice for the safety and rational use of drugs. MethodsTo conduct a statistical analysis based upon the information from 47 inpatients with ADR which were reported from February 2006 to December 2010, such as age, gender, history of adverse reactions with drugs, route of administration, used drug, clinical manifestations, et al. ResultsADR is likely to be reported in various ages section during inpatients, particularly those are 41~60 years old. The most adverse reactions were caused by beta-lactam antibiotics, and they mainly caused allergic skin reactions. ConclusionMedical institutions should pay attention to the antibiotic induced adverse reaction, and rational use of it.
