Survey and Analysis on Cognition of Medical Device Adverse Events among Healthcare Professionals and Technical Personnel

Abstract: Objective To investigate the cognition degree on Medical Device Adverse Events(MDAE) among healthcare professionals, analyse the problems that exist in the monitoring so as to provide information for the relevant agencies. Methods The investigators distributed questionnaire to various departments and collected at the scene. Results and conclusion The people who had been investigated had a low level cognition about knowledge of MDAE and monitoring was not enough, which affect reporting rate. We should actively carry out training and propaganda, strengthen supervision, using the information to do a good job in feedback, so as to ensure the safety of using medical devices.
