Information Exchange Mechanism of Cosmetic Safety Risks in China

Abstract: Objective To analyze the information exchange mechanism for cosmetic safety risks in China in order to provide reference for upgrading the system of information exchange related to safety risks of cosmetics in China. Methods The way in which information was exchanged by Cosmetics Vigilance Briefing(2019)was analyzed, while the means by which information about risks of cosmetics was exchanged were categorized before recommendations were made. Results A variety of channels for release of information on safety risks of cosmetics were opened to the public and achieved good social benefits, but the mechanism of exchange needed to be improved. Conclusion More mechanisms for such exchange of information with the public should be made accessible.
