Abstract: Bolbostemma paniculatum(Maxim.) Franquet is important and valuable medicinal plants．The study showed that the plants contain saponins, organic acids, sterols, alkaloid and other chemical constituents．Pharmacological effects：anti-virus, anti-cancer, inhibition immunity． This article presented a review on chemical components,pharmacological effects, which gave a reference for further research in future．
