Abstract: The reasons of drug safety issues were analyzed deeply from perspective of risk society theory , from whichwe should keep correct view of drug safety issues, through strengthening risk education to improve awareness and ability of prevention for the whole society on risk. Elimination of unreasonable risk taking mechanism to avoid embarrassed situation of uncertain subject of responsibility, rational and scientific adjustment of medical industrial structure, improving enterprise's innovation capability and competitiveness, avoiding vicious competition homogenization and drug manufacturing defects which may be induced by this. To establish an open and transparent drug safety information release mechanism, regulate the media to popularize knowledge of drug safety to raise satisfaction about drug safety of public.
