Literature Analysis of Adverse Drug Reactions Induced by Lidocaine as Stomatological Medicine

Abstract: ObjectiveTo promote its scientific use by probing into the general laws and characteristics of ADR induced by lidocaine as stomatological medicine. MethodsTo retrieve and analyze the documents about ADR induced by lidocaine as stomatological medicine in CNKI and Chinainfo Digital Journals from the year of 2000 to 2012. Resultsand ConclusionADR induced by lidocaine happens on more female than male within ten minutes after taking the medicine, frequently accompanied by some allergic shock and reaction. It will affect multiple systems of the body, mainly involving in general disorder, malfunction of the central and peripheral nervous system, as well as the respiratory system. Supervision and precaution should be strengthened in the clinical use of lidocaine.
